The COVID-19 pandemic, the introduction of remote working, emerging trends related to agile management in the organization – these are the key factors that have significantly accelerated the process of digital transformation of many companies. Undoubtedly, this had a huge impact on the work of HR departments, which faced a considerable challenge of arranging the employee’s path in the organization in accordance with the changing business environment.
In order to improve the Employee Journey in the organization, it is worthwhile to carefully analyze two key aspects related to it, i.e.: employee lifecycle – specific stages through which they pass during their career, and Employee Experience – experiences and feelings that accompany them at each of them.
Mapping the employee lifecycle, i.e. isolating the key steps in this process, allows you to identify potential problems and areas for improvement. Actions to improve the employee experience make it possible to significantly increase their comfort at work, and thus positively impact their engagement, motivation and long-term satisfaction. Keep in mind that people are the most valuable resource of the organization, that’s why it is so important to properly design, measure and constantly take care of the Employee Experience.
